The first edition of Battery Innovation Days, the annual conference on research and innovation in the field of lithium batteries, promoted by the Bepa Association, the two European projects IPCEI on Batteries, Batteries Europe and Battery 2030+, will be held online from 23 to 25 November 2021.
The event aims to be an opportunity for industry leaders to converge and provide hot takes on the latest developments within the European R&I Battery domain, exchange views on key strategic approaches to deploying crucial technologies, and assess future R&I needs for a more competitive and sustainable European battery value-chain.
On Wednesday November 24, from 9:30 to 11:30, our CTO and Co-founder Alan Pastorelli, will participate in the conference within the panel discussion “Aligning R&I with sustainable objectives“, part of a wider session entitled “A paramount to achieve decarbonization objectives: The further development of sustainable batteries” with the aim of giving Flash Battery’s point of view on how to align research and innovation with the European Commission’s sustainability objectives in view of the forthcoming Battery Regulation, considering also the role of the BATT4EU partnership to increase the competitiveness of the European battery value chain in a sustainable way.
Furthermore, on 25 November at 14:00, at the end of the Battery Innovation Days conference, the 17 participants of the first IPCEI project will present to the audience their projects and the work they are doing with the common goal of creating a sustainable and innovative ecosystem for batteries in Europe.
