AI and Cybersecurity: Antonio Gabriele, CIO of Flash Battery, at IT’S ALL CIO & TECHNOLOGY 2026

Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and innovation governance are now among the key challenges CIOs and IT teams face as companies move forward with digital transformation. These topics will take centre stage at IT’S ALL CIO & TECHNOLOGY 2026, taking place on Tuesday, 13 October in Assago, with Antonio Gabriele, CIO of Flash Battery, also taking part.

Dedicated to technological innovation, the conference brings together CIOs, managers and IT professionals responsible for driving the evolution of corporate systems, infrastructure and processes.

With more than 80 speakers, 500 attendees and 20 media outlets involved, the event provides an important opportunity to exchange insights on the key trends transforming enterprise IT.

The event will take place at the NH Milano Congress Centre in Assago and will feature round tables, presentations and networking sessions focused on the main topics reshaping the IT landscape: from Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity to cloud computing, data management and new digital infrastructure.

Antonio Gabriele joins the round table on Digital Transformation & Innovation

From 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Antonio Gabriele will take part in the round table “Systems, Solutions and Technologies: DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION & INNOVATION”, bringing CIOs and IT professionals together to discuss the strategies and technologies reshaping enterprise IT architectures, processes and management models.

The session will cover a broad range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Big Data & Analytics, Cyber & IT Security, AI Agents, Edge Computing and IT orchestration.

During the round table, Antonio Gabriele will share Flash Battery’s digital transformation journey, exploring some of the major challenges currently facing CIOs and IT teams. These include the need to ensure the security of corporate infrastructure and data, as well as the importance of establishing the right approaches, governance frameworks and skills to unlock the potential of Artificial Intelligence within business processes.

Cybersecurity and AI: the new challenges of digital transformation

Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence will be among the key topics discussed during the round table. Both are now central to companies’ digital transformation strategies. While they present different challenges, they are closely linked to an organisation’s ability to innovate in a secure, structured and informed way. Drawing on the experience gained at Flash Battery, Antonio Gabriele will contribute to the discussion on how these technologies can be turned into practical tools that support business operations.

On the cybersecurity front, the growing adoption of connected systems, cloud technologies and digital platforms requires a structured approach to data protection, access management and the mitigation of cyber risks. Flash Battery’s CIO will explore the role of strategies, tools and corporate culture in building a secure and reliable digital ecosystem.

Significant attention will also be devoted to Artificial Intelligence, which is becoming increasingly embedded in business processes and opening up new application opportunities.

At Flash Battery, Artificial Intelligence is already being applied across several business processes, from software development and data analysis to the testing of customised AI agents. This evolution goes beyond the adoption of new tools: it also requires parallel work on data quality, integration with corporate systems, governance, cybersecurity, training and human oversight.
