Flash Battery will take part in CDO 2026 – Chief Data Officer, the event dedicated to data-driven innovation and digital transformation of businesses, scheduled for 16 June 2026 at the nhow Hotel in Milan.
The event will bring together CIOs, CDOs, IT managers, innovation managers and decision-makers from leading industrial sectors to discuss strategic topics such as artificial intelligence, IT/OT integration, IoT, cybersecurity, and the digitalisation of production processes.
Throughout the day, companies and professionals will share concrete experiences and real-world use cases related to the evolution of Smart Factories and Industry 4.0/5.0.
Antonio Gabriele speaker in the “Manufacturing & Defense” session
Antonio Gabriele, Chief Information Officer of Flash Battery, will speak at 12:05 in the “Manufacturing & Defense: Automation and servitisation to optimise production processes” session, taking part in the roundtable:
“The journey towards the Smart Factory: how to integrate AIoT towards Industry 4.0/5.0?”
The session will explore the following topics:
• resilient architectures to optimise productivity and security in strategic sectors such as manufacturing, defence, and the space economy;
• IT/OT integration to ensure smoother, more connected and secure operations;
• the use of advanced solutions such as AI, Digital Twins and IoT for real-time monitoring and process optimisation.
The goal of the discussion will be to explore how AIoT, IT/OT integration, and intelligent data management can support companies and organisations in improving production efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness.
Flash Battery’s journey towards the Smart Factory
During the talk, Antonio Gabriele will present Flash Battery’s experience in its evolution towards an increasingly data-driven Smart Factory.
Starting from the integration of production data and data collected from batteries operating in the field, Flash Battery has developed a digital ecosystem capable of supporting real-time monitoring, analysis, and optimisation of business processes.
A special focus will be placed on FlashAI, the internal generative AI platform developed to improve access to company information and simplify interaction between people, data, and systems.
