The experience of Flash Battery for the Master Class “E-Mobility & Electric Powertrain”
12-14 March 2021
Digital Event
From the 12 to 14 of March our CTO Alan Pastorelli and CEO Marco Righi will be holding lessons dedicated to the theme of “Batteries” as part of the High Level Training Master Class “E-Mobility & Electric Powertrain”, organised by Experis Academy in collaboration with Motus-E.
This Master Class has the purpose of providing specialised training, aimed at establishing new professional figures within the sphere of electrification. Flash Battery was chosen to share their experience and know-how as European leader in the battery segment.
The Master’s course is unique in its technical-engineering approach, and consists of 26 day-long digital classes, held by technical professionals who will share their expertise, and 1 startup day, dedicated to startups from the sector who will bring their experience to the classroom, creating an opportunity for discussion and mutual stimulation.
The main subjects of the master are divided into 5 modules:
Marco Righi and Alan Pastorelli will hold the lessons related to the Battery Pack module (16 + 4 hours): they will discuss the transition from lead to lithium, up to the chemistries of the future. They will analyse into detail the Balancing System of a lithium battery, the necessary safety devices, the possibility of remote control (through the explanation of the peculiarities of our Flash Data Center) and the various possible charging systems (on-board, off-board, induction). There will also be several examples of real case histories and a focus on sustainability, where the development of new, increasingly green lithium technologies is playing a fundamental role in the transition to full-electric. The last 4 hours of the module will be held by Michele Caggiano, Engineer with long past experience as Managing Director of FEV Italia, who will explore another real case related to the automotive market of the famous car manufacturer from Sant’Agata Bolognese.
