Flash Battery: environmental care is in the company’s dna. Collaborators team up to clean up the streets of Sant’Ilario

For the second year in a row, employees at Flash Battery (the Reggio Emilia-based manufacturer of lithium batteries for industrial machinery and electric vehicles) gathered in teams and devoted a whole morning to cleaning up the litter in and around the district of the city of Sant’Ilario d’Enza that is home to the production facility.

Important arteries, small streets and other public sites were combed through for waste as part of the initiative sponsored by the City of Sant’Ilario D’Enza, called Together for the Environment, which saw the participation of employees, friends and relatives.

“This commitment highlights our connection to the local community and also reaffirms the broader work we are doing to develop sustainability at the level of products and processes, which is part of our company philosophy”, said Marco Righi, CEO of the company that recorded €22.3 million in revenue and a growth of 22.2% in staff numbers in 2022. “It’s exciting to see our collaborators fully embracing our values of passion, sustainability and innovation; it goes to prove their high sensitivity to the environment and commitment to raise awareness about how much the small things truly matter in safeguarding our planet’s future”, he added.
