The new health track created in collaboration with Check Up Service and CIO, to bring the Flash Battery team closer to the discipline of osteopathy

The Osteopathy in the Workplace project, carried out in collaboration with Check Up Service and CIO – Collegio Italiano di Osteopatia di Parma, ended in October 2023, allowing 6 Flash Battery employees to enjoy 4 free individual osteopathy sessions with specialists in the field.

The coworkers of our team were able to take advantage, directly within the company premises, of real specialist visits on a weekly basis, lasting one hour each, supported by a professional osteopath, accompanied by trainees at the end of their training.

Osteopathy as a comprehensive approach to personal well-being

The main goal of the meetings was to provide each patient with a complete and accurate check of his or her health situation. Precisely for this purpose, during the first and last sessions, a questionnaire was handed out, aimed at analyzing the lifestyle, habits and health status of each patient, so as to structure an appropriate pathway tailored to the needs of each one.

Osteopathy, in fact, takes a holistic approach to patient care and treatment, based on a view of the individual and his or her body as a whole, so no element is ever evaluated individually, but in relation to every part of the body and every aspect of the patient’s life.

The aim of osteopathy is to restore the overall balance of the body by rebalancing the osteoarticular system, stimulating the internal organs and bringing the nervous system back into harmony, through noninvasive but precise, gentle and targeted manipulations.

Daily preventive actions to improve employees’ lifestyles

The decision to promote a course of osteopathy in the company is motivated by the deep conviction that daily and concrete actions, aimed at creating greater awareness of the importance of prevention, play an extremely important role in improving one’s lifestyle and habits. Practices such as osteopathy, are in fact part of that series of actions that are fundamental in ensuring and maintaining the state of health of each person.

The possibility of using this service directly from one’s place of work gives employees the opportunity to access qualified advice at km0, thus facilitating work-life balance, which is already implemented in the company through various Welfare initiatives, including flexible working hours and various free screening activities.

“The Osteopathy in the Workplace program is part of the welfare wellness projects that we organize and promote in our company; specifically, we chose to give Flash Battery people the opportunity to approach this discipline easily from work, with the aim of stimulating interest and having them experience its benefits, creating greater awareness of the importance of prevention. The project was received with interest by the entire team, driven by curiosity and a desire to improve their lifestyle and health , starting with concrete actions. All participants took part in the project with great enthusiasm, saying that they observed the benefits on their daily lives and also recommended their colleagues to take up osteopathy.”
