On Friday 19 January 2024, Flash Battery will open the doors of its HQ to two third-year classes of the Maria Chiara secondary school in Sant’Ilario d’Enza, for a morning dedicated to getting to know the emerging sector of industrial electrification.
The initiative, organised as part of the national project “SME DAY Industriamoci – SME DAY let’s get industrial, promoted by Piccola Industria Confindustria in collaboration with the various Confindustria Associations, has been aimed, for over 13 years, at bringing young students into contact with local enterprises, with the goal of disseminating an in-depth knowledge of how a company works, by meeting its protagonists and observing its products, processes and services.
The latest edition of the PMI DAY Industriamoci has the word “freedom” as its main theme. The idea is to create awareness in young people about the importance of choosing for themselves and building their future by working on their skills and passions.
These are precisely the values behind Flash Battery’s development over time, and which have allowed a small start-up, born in 2012 from the idea of two friends with a common passion, to become an international benchmark in the production of lithium batteries for the industrial sector.
During the visit to our headquarters in Sant’Ilario d’Enza (RE), the students will have the opportunity to meet Flash Battery’s founder and CEO Marco Righi, get to know our 110 employees, and visit our production site, in order to learn more about the different skills and professional expertise that can be developed within the company. The aim is to inspire the new generations to pursue their dreams and to understand that doing business does not only mean productivity, but also spirit of initiative, research and development, passion and dedication.
“Spreading business culture and promoting knowledge of the industrial world will open the doors to tomorrow’s entrepreneurs. We strongly believe in these training days organised by the National PMI DAY Industriamoci project, which not only allow students to experience a new reality and satisfy their curiosity, but also allow them to understand the real functioning of a company and the different professional roles that revolve within it. This gives the students the opportunity to understand how their own interests can be placed within a working context and, at the same time, gain a greater awareness of the fundamental role that a company plays within the economy and society, as an engine of growth, development and collective wellbeing’.
