On 15 September 2023, the episode of Dare& Avere dedicated to Flash Battery aired at 21:00 on Telereggio. This programme, which has been broadcasting on a weekly basis for the past 20 years, aims to tell the stories of successful companies distributed throughout our territory and which, thanks to innovative and cutting-edge products, bring Italian know-how to the world.
Through the testimonies of Marco Righi, Founder & CEO of Flash Battery, Antonio Gabriele Chief Information Officer, and Giulia Pini HR Manager & Executive Assistant, the programme recounted the steps that have marked the evolution of Flash Battery and enabled a start-up to become a leading company in Italy and abroad in the sector of lithium batteries for industrial machinery and electric vehicles.
Marco Righi, interviewed by journalist Mattia Mariani, retraced the milestones that have marked the entrepreneurial history of Flash Battery: from its birth in 2012 thanks to the intuition of two friends with a passion for electronics, to the links established with partners of excellence throughout Europe, and the new expansion of the production site, which will be completed in November 2023.
The founder and CEO of Flash Battery also focused on two important issues that, today more than ever, arouse great interest and, at times, concern within public opinion: the safety of lithium batteries and the new regulations that will govern the recycling and reuse of components.
The interview also focused on the important investments in research that Flash Battery makes every day to develop increasingly cutting-edge technologies that enable OEMs and manufacturers of electric machines and industrial vehicles to access efficient and advanced electrification.
The focus of the discussion with Chief Information Officer Antonio Gabriele was, therefore, the Flash Data Center, our proprietary remote control system which, by means of artificial intelligence algorithms, enables 24/7 real-time and automatic analysis of all battery parameters and determines with increasing accuracy and precision the health status of every Flash Battery in the world, even the most remote.
Research, experimentation or experience: what matters most? As Flash Battery’s CIO pointed out, research remains the main tool for us to be able to provide technology that responds more and more accurately to our customers’ needs and requirements. This, coupled with experience in the field and continuous experimentation, allows us to have access to a product with ever higher added value.
Innovation happens every day at Flash Battery, first and foremost, thanks to the commitment and passion of each of our employees, our most important resource. This is why the company invests in welfare, training plans and team building activities aimed at creating a positive working environment in which to compare and grow not only professionally, but also personally.
In particular, the speech by Flash Battery’s HR manager Giulia Pini focused on the wide variety of job opportunities that Flash Battery offers to young students and recent graduates, and on the importance of always finding new ways of communicating and attracting talents who are motivated and eager to get involved in an ever-changing context such as electrification.
“Where do we see ourselves in 10 years? We like to dream big, but we don’t want to lose sight of what has always been at the core for us: passion. Investments in our technology and the people in our team are essential, only then can we continue to improve every day without ever forgetting where we started”
