Project Title: R.E.A.D.Y. Run Execution And Delivery Yard – New packaging technologies with case picking application for the food market

Aims: The project proposes to develop plant solutions and HW and SW devices to automate the Agrifood sector process, with continuous tracking of product handling. The role of Flash Battery is to contribute by developing an innovative battery balancing system and advanced predictive maintenance with optimised prototype batteries.

Expected results: Flash Battery will develop an extremely high-performance cell balancing and management system, designed to ensure optimal battery operation in the environmental conditions typical of Agrifood storage plants. Active diagnosis and maintenance methodologies and advanced algorithms, possibly based on artificial intelligence paradigms, will be developed to provide more accurate alerts and warnings. The project involves the design, realisation and optimisation of prototype batteries that implement the technologies developed during the research phases.

Results achieved: The Industrial Research activities are proceeding apace, and have led to the construction of the cell parameter data acquisition infrastructure integrated with the test condition monitoring system, the development of communication devices and interfaces, and the construction of the first prototype systems.
