Flash Battery lithium batteries are back: production is up and running and our offices are operating in smart-working mod
As of Monday 6 April, the production and shipping departments of Flash Battery lithium batteries are working again.
Flash Battery lithium batteries are the green fuel of many industrial machines and electric vehicles in Italy but obviously, following the Italian Prime Ministerial Decree of 22 March 2020, we were forced to stop production.
Over the past two weeks, we have made efforts to provide technical and business support to all our customers thanks to smart working, which has been extended to most company employees.
We must also point out that many of our customers have never stopped working, because they are part of the strategic supply chain that keeps Italy going. These are industries involved in logistics and cleaning mediums which support the food supply chain in production plants making primary goods such as pasta and flour, bottled water and also paper mills.
In light of this and as established by points d) and g) of the Italian Prime Ministerial Decree dated 22 March, the Flash Battery production, shipping and spare parts departments have restarted production because they are “essential” for primary sectors. Offices will continue to operate in smart-working mode.
We have applied all the indications and precautions outlined in the Government Decree and made the Flash Battery production department a safe place to work.
The main steps taken include a reduced number of workers split into two work shifts – independent of each other – which means each worker can be provided with a “safety area” which exceeds the Italian national parameters dictated by protocols for safety and anti-infection in the workplace.
This means we can continue to support our customers in the logistics plants of the most important Food and Beverage companies in the world.
