Batteries made in Europe: Flash Battery at the Upcell Alliance Webinar on the future of European battery production
18 September 2025
Evento Online

Battery manufacturing in Europe is increasingly strategic to achieve energy autonomy and support industrial transition. On 18 September at 5.30 p.m., Flash Battery will be featuring at Upcell Alliance webinar, a digital event bringing together the main players in the European battery supply chain. Manufacturers, innovators, universities and institutions will discuss advanced technologies, customisation and data intelligence applied to lithium-ion battery production.
It will be a golden opportunity to learn more about the trends that are driving the future of battery manufacturing in Europe directly from the leaders.
During the high-profile online session, alliance members and partners will join a strategic and technical discussion on the latest developments in cell and battery manufacturing, production technologies and other key industry topics.
The event is designed to connect public authorities, industry and academia in a single platform, with the shared mission of shaping the future of electric battery technology in Europe.
Vision and goals of Upcell Alliance: the European network for battery innovation
Upcell Alliance is an organisation focused on growth and innovation in the battery industry. It aims to unite all supply chain players to address critical industry challenges by fostering collaboration, technological innovation and entrepreneurship, contributing to greater energy resilience and a more sustainable future.
The alliance has over 120 members worldwide: battery manufacturers, machinery manufacturers, material and chemical suppliers, universities, research centres and public authorities. A network covering the entire battery value production chain.
The main missions are to build a strong and integrated European network, stimulate the development of local economies and promote innovation as a strategic lever for tackling environmental challenges and enhancing European skills and solutions, adopting a local for local approach.
Customisation, innovation and cutting-edge technologies for the European Battery Industry: Flash Battery's contribution
Alan Pastorelli, CTO and Co-Founder of Flash Battery, will be among the webinar speakers with a speech entitled: "Flash Battery and Europe’s Innovation Path: Customised Manufacturing, Advanced BMS and Data Intelligence”.
In his talk, Alan will bring technical experience gained from more than 10 years of designing and manufacturing customised lithium batteries for the industrial sector. He will tell about the technological evolution of Flash Battery, which today is a European reference point for operators seeking advanced industrial electrification solutions.
The speech will pivot on the pillars of our proprietary technology, spanning from the strategic choice of LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) chemistry, synonymous with safety and stability, to the development of that proprietary electronics that make our solutions stand out.
Alan will focus on two key points in particular:
- The Flash Balancing System, our patented high-power balancing system, which combines active and passive to ensure high performance and homogeneity across cells.
- The Flash Data Centre, the remote control platform that monitors each battery in real time, anticipating anomalies and maximising reliability over time.
It will be the opportunity to discover the concentration of engineering, software and long-term vision inside every Flash Battery.
