Marco Righi among the speakers at the Cisita Parma event ‘Electric mobility: current market and future challenges | Flash Battery

What prospects does the current and future electric mobility market offer young people? Founder and CEO of Flash Battery, Marco Righi spoke about it at the e-mobility conference organised by Cisita Parma

On Wednesday 24 May 2023, Flash Battery Founder and CEO Marco Righi participated as a speaker in the conference “Electric Mobility: current market & future challenges. An overview of skills and training for young people” organised by the training organisation CISITA Parma at the headquarters of the Parma Union of Industrialists, in Palazzo Soragna.

The event took place on the occasion of the conclusion of the KA2 Erasmus+ project “Innovation Garage of Garages” co-ordinated by Cisita Parma and carried out together with a dense network of European partners including schools, institutions and enterprises, with the common objective of promoting strategies and methodologies to boost green sector skills, through innovative practices for the training of students and teachers, in order to foster the development of sustainable mobility in Europe.

The conference, in fact, focused on the increasingly central role that the electric mobility sector is beginning to play in the European Union, bringing with it new perspectives and multiple challenges that will have to be prepared to face in the near future.

In particular, the meeting, which was attended by students of mechanics, mechatronics, maintenance and technical assistance from the high schools ITIS L. da Vinci in Parma, ITIS Berenini in Fidenza and IPSIA Gadda in Fornovo, drew attention to the importance of specific training for young people on the subject of electric mobility, in order to develop the appropriate skills that are increasingly in demand in the sector.

Flash Battery was one of the speakers, together with Volvo Trucks and YCOM, who took part in the initiative, bringing to the students their industrial experience and know-how in the emerging electrification sector, focusing on the new challenges brought into play by the energy transition and the professional figures who now play a strategic role in this direction.

During the presentation, the students were able to hear Flash Battery’s entrepreneurial story and what steps led the two young founders, Marco Righi and Alan Pastorelli, to give shape to an innovative idea, turning it into a company that is today a leader in the sector of lithium batteries for industrial machines and electric vehicles .

Marco Righi then explained to the students the pillars of Flash Battery’s decades of experience in the design and production of customised lithium batteries for the industrial segment, illustrating the proprietary technology and features of Flash Battery lithium batteries that make them an innovative and differentiating product.

The students were also able to learn about the numerous job opportunities that Flash Battery offers young people entering the world of work. There are, in fact, various opportunities for personal and professional growth within the company based on the skills and personal predispositions of each candidate.
