What does it mean to work and grow within Flash Battery? Marco Righi and the company’s HR team explain to the students of ITS Silvio d’Arzo in Montecchio Emilia what it means to “Be Flash Battery”.
On Friday 19 May 2023, our Founder & CEO Marco Righi met the over 100 students attending the fifth classes of the Silvio d’Arzo Technical High School in Montecchio Emilia to tell them about the path that has transformed us from a start-up company founded in 2012 into an international company, today one of the main European players in the sector of lithium batteries for machinery and industrial vehicles.
At the heart of the meeting were two questions that are as simple as they are complex and to which each of us, at least once in our lives, has tried to give an answer: What do you like to do? What are the passions that drive you?
These are precisely the issues that introduced and guided the company presentation in which Marco Righi told the students about the fundamentals of our proprietary technology and our growth, dwelling on what ‘being Flash Battery’ means to us, and what are the values that identify the company and unite all our employees. 
Passion and innovation are the main values that allowed the idea of two young guys, Marco Righi and Alan Pastorelli, the founding partners of Flash Battery, to become reality. They realised the potential that lithium batteries equipped with an intelligent management control system could bring to the industrial machinery and vehicles sector, and persevered in their project until they founded Flash Battery. These values, coupled with a tailor-made approach, leadership skills and a vision dedicated to sustainability, are still at the heart of the company’s mission today.

During the presentation, the students also had the opportunity to meet our Human Resources team in person and discover what it means to work and grow within Flash Battery.
Among the most relevant concepts for the students were the tools that the company offers to enable the personal and professional growth and constant wellbeing of its employees: from On-boarding courses for new recruits, to the more than 39 training courses provided annually, to Team Building initiatives and agreements with various local authorities and organisations in the area.
In particular, the students were able to learn about the wide variety of job opportunities that Flash Battery offers based on the personal aptitudes and skills of each individual.
