Flash Battery brings its know-how in lithium batteries for the industrial sector to the students of ITS F. Corni di Modena
On Thursday 25 January 2024, from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., the Chief Operating Officer of Flash Battery, Filippo di Di Gregorio, will be one of the speakers at “Electrifying the Future“, the event organised at the Planetarium Municipal of Modena by Alessandro Casalgrandi, Professor of Mechatronics at the F. Corni Technical High School. The aim of the initiative is to promote a dialogue between the academic world and local companies on the subject of electric mobility.
The event is part of the broader MOvet – MOdena Vehicle Electric Technology project, which envisages collaboration between students, teachers and professional experts in the automotive and energy sectors, for the design and construction of an electric vehicle, which will act as a test bench and testing ground for the students of the Corni Technical Institute of Modena.
The purpose of the project will therefore be to design and build a zero-emission vehicle, giving students the opportunity to come into direct contact with the automotive sector, enabling them to learn valuable knowledge directly through practical experience.
Facilitating the sharing of knowledge between students and companies, the meeting on Thursday 25 January, ‘Electrifying the Future’ aims to create a stimulating learning environment, offering students the opportunity to acquire specific skills that can be used in the practical implementation of the MOvet project.
As a leading company in the Italian electrification industry, Flash Battery will offer a general overview of the current state of the art in the battery sector, bringing its technical know-how developed in over 10 years of designing and producing customised lithium batteries for the industrial sector.
Starting with an overview of Flash Battery’s history and evolution over the years, Filippo di Gregorio will tell students about the main aspects of our lithium technology, focusing in particular on our chosen chemistry, LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate), and the characteristics of our proprietary electronics. From the patented active and passive high-power balancing system, the Flash Balancing System, to the implementation of our proprietary remote control software, the Flash Data Center, there are, in fact, many elements that guarantee lithium Flash Batteries, safety, reliability over time and long life cycles.
Through the contribution of various companies active in the field of sustainable mobility, the ‘Electrifying the Future‘ event will enable students to concretise the concepts studied in theory, in order to be able to competently tackle the challenges that will arise in practice.
