“Nuovi mestieri”: the Lapam Confartigianato podcast episode dedicated to Flash Battery

Lapam Confartigianato, “Nuovi mestieri”
On 22 December 2023, Marco Righi, CEO and Founder of Flash Battery, during the “Nuovi Mestieri” podcast by Lapam Confartigianato, an association that offers services and consultancy to companies in the Modena and Reggio Emilia area, retraced the steps that led to the founding of Flash Battery and how, from start-up, our company managed to become one of the European leaders in the production of lithium batteries for the industrial sector.
The programme, online within the “Parola di Lapam” (Word of Lapam) column, aims to tell in each episode the story of a company rooted in the territory, with a particular focus on the entrepreneurial intuition that has allowed the company to carve out a prominent place for itself on the market, introducing a novelty that did not exist before.
The interview, conducted by Alessio Molinari Bucarelli, dealt with the crucial role of lithium in the energy transition, emphasising the added value brought to the industrial sector by the technology that has allowed Flash Battery to establish itself on the market: the proprietary BMS Flash Balancing System. This was precisely the idea with which Flash Battery, last Monday 31 July 2023, won the “Young Entrepreneurs 2023” award organised by Lapam Confartigianato, which rewarded entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 40 who have distinguished themselves for the innovation they have brought to the market in the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
At the heart of the entire episode was a simple but fundamental question, addressed to Marco Righi: “When you started out, did you expect to get this far?”
A question that required the CEO of Flash Battery to go back in time to the now distant 2009, when he was just a boy with a great passion for entrepreneurship, who dreamed of creating a company of his own that could create value for society and for his employees.
From the challenges faced in the early years, to the pandemic-related difficulties, to the need to adapt to the strong and rapid growth of the recent years, this interview was a valuable opportunity to remind us, once again, that in order to grow, it is necessary to look ahead without ever forgetting where you started.
