Double national award for Flash Battery for sustainability and skills
20/11/2023 – PRESS RELEASE 5/2023
Double success in the space of just a few days for the Reggio Emilia company Flash Battery, which won two of Italy’s most prestigious industry awards.
A leading manufacturer of lithium batteries for industrial machinery and electric vehicles, with €22.3 million turnover in 2022, over 100 employees and products sold in 54 countries, this young company based in Sant’Ilario d’Enza (the average age of employees is 34) won the Il Sole 24 Ore “Sustainable Enterprise Award” and, for the fifth time, the “Deloitte Best Managed Company” award, sponsored by Deloitte Private with the participation of ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, ELITE-Euronext Group and the Piccola Industria (small industry) branch of the Confindustria industrial federation.
The impressive combination of these two awards recognises two specific and different missions of Flash Battery. The company, led by Marco Righi, was awarded the Il Sole 24 Ore award – organised in collaboration with the Vatican and the Patronage of the Pontifical Academy for Life – in the “digital sustainability” category, while the “Deloitte Best Managed Company” Award was received for the company’s performance in the areas of strategy, skills, innovation, governance and corporate culture.
