Using machine learning and artificial intelligence, the latest release of Flash Data Center, Flash Battery’s remote control software, learns and improves the performance of Flash Battery lithium batteries, extending their useful life.
Flash Data Center is an automatic remote control software that performs self-diagnostics and predictive analysis of batteries. It was developed almost ten years ago by Flash Battery. An innovation that has earned the Reggio Emilia-based company inclusion in the European Battery Alliance‘s Battery Systems programme.
Flash Data Center’s latest release will be featured at Bauma 2022, that will take place in Munich from 24 to 30 October. Marco Righi, CEO & Founder of Flash Battery, describes it to us.
“A lithium battery can be used in different contexts and in different ways, all of which affect its life. Knowing in advance where and how to act to extend its life cycles or improve its performance is in itself a great advantage. Since 2012, we have produced lithium batteries used in the most diverse contexts of use and subjected to the most diverse stresses. Think for instance of the automated logistics sector, where AGV and LGV work non-stop 24 hours a day in industrial plants with temperatures ranging from -30°C to +45°C. Thanks to remote monitoring and predictive data analysis, it is possible to: understand how the user uses our lithium battery; estimate the actual battery life on the vehicle; and predict how the battery will behave in the future.
