Flash Battery among the sustainable companies winning the 2024 Sustainable Development Award

On Thursday, 7 November 2024, Flash Battery was awarded the 2024 Sustainable Development Prize, the recognition promoted by the Foundation for Sustainable Development and Ecomondo-Italian Exhibition Group, with the patronage of MASE – Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security, for Italian companies, start-ups and Local Administrations that have particularly distinguished themselves for the introduction and diffusion of green processes or practices that have had positive economic or environmental consequences.

Now in its 14th edition, the Sustainable Development Award was divided into three categories in which the participating companies were assessed: Circular Economy, Climate Neutrality and Nature Positive Solutions, and Green Building.

The award ceremony, held at Ecomondo, the annual event that brings together industries, stakeholders, policy makers, opinion leaders, the world of research and leading institutions in the green and circular economy sectors, saw Flash Battery on the podium in the field of circular economy.

Flash Battery’s real innovation lies in its technologies, which optimise vehicle performance by reducing replacements and downtime. The Flash Balancing System , the combined active and passive high-power balancing system implemented on all Flash Battery lithium batteries, can keep the cells equalised and efficient throughout the life of the battery (over 4,000 cycles), guaranteeing high efficiency and performance over time. In addition, the Flash Data Center monitors batteries 24/7 using artificial intelligence and machine learning, analysing data in real time to identify and resolve critical issues before they even occur.
