Flash Battery is Deloitte “Best Managed Company” for the fifth time

On 30 October 2023, Flash Battery won the Best Managed Companies Award for the fifth year running, the award for business excellence in Italy sponsored by Deloitte Private with the participation of ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, ELITE-Euronext Group and the Piccola Industria (small industry) branch of the Confindustria industrial federation.

More specifically, Flash Battery was ranked within the Gold Category, listed among the 35 Italian companies which, for at least four consecutive years, have maintained excellent standards and results in the areas of skills and innovation, strategy, governance, corporate culture, and social, environmental and economic sustainability.

Figures from the 2023 edition: 7 key success factors analysed and 79 Italian companies recognised

The Deloitte “Best Managed Companies” Award, now in its sixth edition, focuses on recognising and promoting companies that have demonstrated a commitment to developing successful and worthwhile business solutions, obtaining outstanding results in all aspects of corporate culture: from strategy to the implementation of new internationalisation practices.

This year, 79 companies were recognised for their entrepreneurial spirit, skills and business management capabilities, characteristics assessed and analysed through 7 key success factors: strategy,skills and innovation,corporate commitment and culture,governance and performance measurement, sustainability, supply chain and internationalisation.

“In this sixth edition, as many as 79 Italian businesses received the BMC Award thanks to their excellent managerial capabilities in a complex international scenario,” stated Andrea Restelli, Partner at Deloitte and Best Managed Companies programme manager in Italy. “Today, organisations and their leaders must be increasingly ready to overcome the many challenges and continue to be competitive and attractive in the market, leveraging the right resources, skills and investments, while focusing on talent inside the organisation.”

Rewarding best practice to create a network of outstanding companies

The Deloitte “Best Managed Companies” Award is not limited to simply selecting and recognising companies that embody best practice, but also aims to promote dialogue and connect best-in-class companies, encouraging mutual cooperation and interaction.

The BMC title therefore seeks to play a distinctive role in recognising companies, initiating a process of respect and positive contamination that can lead to mutual growth.

The Best Managed Company Award, which has ranked Flash Battery among the top Italian companies in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, is not an arrival point for us, but a real springboard to continue implementing improvements in governance, skills and innovation within our company.
