On 3 May 2023, Flash Battery CEO Marco Righi will be among the speakers at the round table “Construction machinery plugs in: hydrogen, hybrid or electric? Three solutions to decarbonise the construction industry” organised by VaiElettrico on the occasion of SaMoTer
The event, organised by Vaielettrico, will take place on Wednesday 3 May 2023, from 3.30 pm to 5 pm in the Samoter Lab training room, hall 12.
The round table will be part of SaMoTer, the important exhibition dedicated to the world of construction machinery scheduled from 3 to 7 May 2023 at the VeronaFiere exhibition centre.
The 2023 edition of SaMoTer will in fact focus on the fundamental role that the construction equipment industry will play in environmental sustainability and the green revolution outlined in the New Green Deal that is now becoming imminent. The revolution of the ecological transition is investing the world of construction machinery and SaMoTer represents a privileged observatory to outline the characteristics of the construction site of the future.
The aim of the panel will be to analyse the main solutions to limit the pollution generated by work machines and to discusswith the main manufacturers in the sector about the technologies currently available to limit or completely eliminate emissions from these machines.
Several experts will take part in the discussion divided into two thematic areas: the first will focus on full-electric, hybrid and hydrogen solutions for sustainable construction sites; the second session will address the theme of components made in Italy, with a special focus on batteries and e-powertrain.
Flash Battery, Italy’s leading designer and manufacturer of customised lithium batteries for industrial machines and electric vehicles, will be one of the participants in the second session of the round table and will address the topic of lithium electrification in the construction sector, one of the industrial segments that is fully embracing electric conversion and that, more than any other, is focusing on the electrification of compact vehicles with high-voltage and high-power batteries.
The speech by Marco Righi, CEO and Founder of Flash Battery, will focus on the main electrification requirements in the construction sector and on the most important characteristics that a lithium battery designed for this sector, which by nature tends to be particularly energy intensive, ,must possess. At the same time these applications require great autonomy and power, without underestimating the fundamental aspect of safety.
