Flash Battery speaks at “Automotive Revamping: the future of batteries” webinar | Flash Battery

On 26 October, Flash Battery participated in the webinar “Automotive revamping: the future of batteries” to discuss electric mobility and lithium battery research.

The webinar, organised by MISTER Smart Innovation and Tecnopolo Bologna CNR, took place on Wednesday 26 October 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Microsoft Teams platform and brought together a number of regional and European bodies, including the Emilia-Romagna Region, the European Regional Development Fund, POR FESR Emilia-Romagna, FSC, Fund for Development and Cohesion and ART-ER, Attractivity Research Territory.

The focus of the event has been be wide-ranging electric mobility, the state of research in battery development, and the role of the territory in offering opportunities to meet these emerging challenges. The future of the automotive industry and the transition towards innovative and green technological solutions will also be discussed.

Francesco Guaraldi, R&D Scouting and fundraising at Flash Battery, has taken part in the webinar. He has spoken about the concrete role of our company in the research and development of new technologies in the field of lithium batteries for industrial machines and electric vehicles, and about the work carried out by Flash Battery in supporting the transition towards electrification of increasingly differentiated segments and increasingly challenging applications.

The webinar has also been an opportunity to learn more about Flash Battery’s involvement in the European projects in which it collaborates, such as the NewControl project, which we are part of from 2019 along with 49 other international partners, which aims to develop advanced control systems in the area of enabling technologies for electric mobility, and the IPCEI project, which sees us engaged in the creation of a European battery value chain, with the aim of producing raw materials, cells, modules and complete battery systems on a large scale in Europe.

Speakers at the webinar have included Federico Capucci, Manager at Clust-ER MECH, Francesco Paolo Ausiello, Strategic Projects Representative at ART-ER and Francesca De Giorgio, CNR ISMN Researcher.

The event has been moderated by Stefano Saguatti, Battery Senior Expert at Manz Italy Srl.
