24 Emilia | Flash Battery cleans the streets of Sant’Ilario from rubbish

For the second year in a row, a group of Flash Battery employees dedicated a morning to the extraordinary collection of abandoned rubbish in the areas near the production site

Streets and surroundings were sifted as part of the initiative sponsored by the municipality of Sant’Ilario d’Enza and called “Together for the Environment”, which gathered the support of employees, friends and family members.

“A commitment,” emphasises Marco Righi, the company’s CEO, “aimed above all at underlining the company’s proximity to the local community, but also at reaffirming the extensive work, part of our corporate philosophy, that we continue to develop on the theme of sustainability in terms of both products and processes”.

Already in 2022, Flash Battery has completely eliminated the use of plastic from offices and most production processes, has a photovoltaic system that ensures its almost total energy autonomy, and has obtained DNV certification of its environmental management system according to the ISO14001 standard.
