With the evolution of the Flash Data Center into version 4.0, Flash Battery, the Italian and international lithium battery specialist, takes centre stage at Bauma 2022.

If digitisation and sustainability are the two integrated themes of Bauma 2022, then the presence of a major player like Flash Battery in Munich is an absolute must in many respects.

With its leading role in electrification applied to industrial machines, Flash Battery will be present in Munich with a special innovation instance, called Flash Data Center, the proprietary lithium battery remote control software, selected among the 41 finalists for the Bauma Innovation Award 2022.

On the eve of the largest international exhibition event dedicated to the construction sector, we interviewed Flash Battery CEO and founder, Marco Righi, to take an in-depth look at the technological substance of the Flash Data Centre, which is capable of further revolutionising a fundamental sector such as that of lithium battery powerpack propulsion.

“The new release of Flash Data Center uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to learn and improve battery performance based on the data it analyses. In this way, our customers have the possibility to carry out advanced investigations of big data in real time, which results in an in-depth con¬sideration of how the machines and industrial vehicles fitted with Flash Battery powerpacks are used (actual charge and discharge times, days of use, average consumption, temperatures reached, and so on),” explains Marco Righi. “Today, Flash Data Center allows a very precise analysis of the state of health and offers Flash Battery the possibility of studying new generation batteries that are increasingly high-performance and intelligent, with characteristics developed ad hoc for the needs and use of each type of industrial application.”
