Flash Battery Srl presents the new Flash Battery brand, the fast-charge, zero-maintenance lithium battery specifically designed for industrial vehicles and machines.
We decided to change the name in order to convey the two strengths that have always set our lithium batteries apart: fast charging 8 times quicker than classic batteries and zero routine maintenance required.
Since 2012, we’ve designed and produced over 2,400 lithium batteries, created customised solutions for over 160 different customers and supplied over 34,500 kWh in different applications, including industrial machines and electric vehicles. Every day, Flash Batteries, the Italian lithium batteries installed so far in 53 countries around the world, are automatically monitored by our proprietary remote control system.
The technical expertise we have acquired over time, after in-depth studies and plenty of research, means we can make lithium batteries with excellent energy performance and a very low weight compared with lead-acid batteries. Thanks to our know-how, we have created extremely efficient lithium batteries, which don’t require any maintenance (zero-maintenance lithium batteries) and offer very high performance in terms of charging speed.
In actual fact, it is to underline these features that we decided to call ourselves Flash Battery; the same name we used to establish our position on the international market of lithium battery manufacturers and suppliers.

But let’s go into a little more detail about the features which make our product cutting-edge and eliminate the need for maintenance of lithium batteries. By conducting continuous research, we have developed a piece of technology which synthesises three important innovations: a combined active and passive balancing system, the Flash Battery Data Center and the Automatic Alert System. This is how the dream of a zero-maintenance battery became reality.
How can you have zero-maintenance lithium batteries?
Flash Battery’s exclusive balancing system is unlike that of classic lithium batteries because it equalises the charge level in every cell during charging and discharging through a high-power balancing process.
The Flash Balancing System operates with a balancing power 20 times higher than conventional lithium batteries, while also drastically reducing the charging time (25 minutes less) and ensuring maximum range. The lithium cells are kept balanced and efficient for the entire life of the battery, with over 3500 cycles.
Flash Battery’s special internal architecture also means it can be repaired on-site even by non-specialist engineers, i.e. directly with the user. This is because Flash Battery is zero-maintenance: it doesn’t require any routine maintenance and eliminates both transport costs and extended machine downtime costs.
While the Flash Data Center is the portal we’ve created to archive all battery usage data. It can be consulted online by our technical assistance department and by the machine manufacturer, and lets you archive operating data and accurately monitor the condition of the lithium battery at any time.
Lastly, the Automatic Alert System warns you in the event of any malfunctions and lets you take action well in advance regarding any critical issues. Together, these two innovations establish a truly advanced control system, which makes our lithium battery for industrial vehicles and machines an extremely efficient and competitive product.
We decided to bring innovation into the lithium accumulator sector by relying on new technologies and developing increasingly high-performance products. We thought about developing a battery with no maintenance costs and turned this dream into reality.
The decision to change name by adding Flash Battery marked a turning point both for our company, which is always looking to the future, and for our customers, as we can provide them with a more efficient service through batteries with optimised technology and zero maintenance costs.
