On Friday, 4 March 2022, we had the pleasure of hosting at our headquarters a group of 8 students from the Electric Powertrain intensive specialisation course organised by Experis Academy, the training centre of Experis, leader in Recruitment, Career & Skills development and consultancy.
The aim of the specialisation course organised in collaboration with SolarEdge E-Mobility, MetaSystem, Motus-E and Cis Unindustria Reggio Emilia and Flash Battery was to give university graduates from different engineering branches the opportunity to get involved in the emerging electrification sector, helping them to choose their future professional path.
Seven weeks of intensive meetings to learn about the features of a complete E-Powertrain system, from the design, development and testing of an electric motor to the battery management system and the transmission, simulation and control of the performance of a full-electric vehicle.
As a partner of the project, we organised a workshop at our HQ entirely dedicated to the lithium battery sector. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to get into the heart of Flash Battery lithium battery production, analysing real case studies and living an electrification experience in the field together with our CTO and Co-Founder Alan Pastorelli, who guided them through a 4-hour in-depth study on Flash Battery lithium technology and on the most recent lithium-based technological innovations.
“We are witnessing an unstoppable growth of the labour market in various sectors, from ICT to the whole chain of sustainable electric mobility, where highly specialised technical skills are increasingly needed; for this reason, access to the people who possess these skills has become more and more strategic for companies. Experis Academy, which has always developed its training offers based on strategic and cutting-edge skills, has chosen Flash Battery – the Reggio Emilia based company that produces Italy’s best-selling lithium batteries – as a partner in the Electric Powertrain free access course to train future engineers in the field of electric mobility, with the aim of providing them with access to numerous professional opportunities.”
“Introducing into the world of work new specialised professionals in the emerging electrification sector has become, today more than ever, a real necessity, because mobility industry is moving precisely in this direction, laying the foundations for a full-electric future. This is the main reason why we have decided to support the intensive specialisation course “Electric Powertrain” in collaboration with Experis Academy. We strongly believe in the importance of training the electrification specialists of the near future, and it is essential to provide them with the right skills, motivation and curiosity to help them make an informed choice about their professional future”.
