Battery analysis, diagnostics and predictive maintenance: Alan Pastorelli at the Nano-Innovation Conference & Exhibition 2021
Rome, September 24, 2021
Nano-Innovation Conference & Exhibition
Alan Pastorelli, CTO of Flash Battery, will speak remotely at the 2021 Nano Innovations conference on 24 September 2021, as part of the symposium that will address the topic of electrochemical energy storage from an atomistic design perspective.
The main purpose of this event is to present cutting-edge research in nanoscience and nanotechnology to a broad audience, and to promote interdisciplinary interactions that highlight developments in this field.
With a speech titled “Towards a predictive analysis, diagnose and maintenance of batteries: dataset optimization, an industrial perspective,” the CTO will explain how Flash Battery has been among the first lithium battery manufacturers committed in the design of a proprietary remote control software, the Flash Data Center, that can provide predictive self-diagnostics and maintenance on each battery pack.
The creation of the dataset began in 2013 with the purpose of monitoring the proper functioning of each battery data. A few years later, Flash Battery has developed its own data collection and processing system with a total of over 50 million logs – about 100,000, per day; a “Battery Usage” database that can be used for multiple purposes, such as energy usage reports, fleet statistics and collection of predictive battery life cycle estimates.
