On Thursday 12 October 2023, Flash Battery founder & CEO Marco Righi met students of the Master’s Degree course in “Project and Innovation Management” of the Department of Engineering of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
The meeting, which took place at our headquarters in Sant’Ilario d’Enza, allowed students to have a complete overview of what entrepreneurship and innovation mean according to Flash Battery.
In fact, the company, in fact, founded as a start-up in 2012, has now grown to become one of the major European players of reference in the production of lithium batteries for industrial machines and electric vehicles, and the visit to the factory offered the students a concrete and tangible example of the concept of “doing business” that they observe in theory on a daily basis.
In particular, the direct testimony of Flash Battery’s founder and CEO focused on the entrepreneurial choices and strategic technological innovations that have allowed us to grow and evolve within the electrification sector and that still drive our progress.
The students were able to gain first-hand experience of our constant investment in research and development, a key prerequisite for remaining constantly competitive in the market and providing OEMs and manufacturers with cutting-edge solutions.
Thanks to a visit to our production site, the students were also introduced to our proprietary technology and the production processes that guide the design and production of our battery packs, from the prototype stage through to series production.
‘Flash Battery represents a fine example of corporate development. Marco Righi’s testimony gave the students the opportunity to delve into the stages that led it from a start-up to become a company of excellence, over a decade. Of particular interest was the focus on how innovation and attention to customer service, in addition to passion and solid skills, can enable the creation of a special corporate, and human, context.
