Students at the Don Dossetti comprehensive school in Cavriago learn about the production of Kaitek Flash Battery lithium battery packs.
“Today we’ll show you how a lithium battery is constructed and what it’s used for ”. With this goal, Marco Righi, the CEO and Founder of Kaitek, explained to a young under-14 class what the advantages are in using this chemistry as compared with traditional lead-acid, and also described the production processes required for manufacturing a Kaitek Flash Battery lithium battery.
With curiosity in their eyes and attentive ears, the 22 students visited each and every area at the company, starting with the lithium battery and prototype design centre, and continuing to the lithium battery production area and final test room.
It was the first time that Kaitek Flash Battery participated in the PMI Day program by opening the factory doors to host the students and explain to them the value of producing lithium batteries for the industrial market. The company hopes that the great curiosity shown by these young people may someday spark their interest in pursuing a technical course of study.
