Kaitek Flash battery and digital infrastructures: challenges and opportunities for the economy in the Reggio Emilia area.

The 15th edition of Economy Day (Giornata dell’Economia) to be held by the Reggio Emilia Chamber of Commerce is inspired by the Italian Ultra-broadband Strategy, in accordance with the goals of the 2014-2020 Digital Agenda.

To bridge the digital gap between our country and the rest of Europe, European Funds and national co-financing totalling more than 3 billion euros have been appropriated for developing a telecommunications infrastructure that extends throughout Italy.

On the occasion, Kaitek Flash Battery, which was chosen as an example of an advanced company specialising in the production of lithium batteries, will discuss the obstacles and the actual digital situation and infrastructures which many companies – such as ours – must succumb to.

Those attending the conference will examine prospects for the digital world, the creation of a telematic infrastructure in the province of Reggio Emilia, and the needs expressed by a number of local businessmen.
